Mari Käbin was born May 23, 1958 in Tallinn, Estonia. She is an artist, jewelry designer and book designer. In 1973, Käbin studied at the Kopli Art School and started working at a jewelry factory soon after graduation. Along with her jewelry designer career, Mari Käbin did both graphic design and freelance art from 1986 until 1994. Her jewelry designs were shown in various exhibitions in places such as: Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Norway and the United States.
