Guy Bedarida is a French jewelry designer best known for his distinctive use of color and tributes to Asian and European traditional designs. He studied in Rome at the European Institute of Design and Communication majoring in both fashion and jewelry design. Bedarida began his career as a jewelry designer in the Place Vendôme in Paris for the House of Boucheron. While being head designer at Van Cleef & Arpels, many of his pieces were worn by celebrities and gained international recognition. Under the John Hardy group, he worked in Bali as the head creative director and designer, leading a team of stone cutters, metalsmiths, illustratorsand wax-carvers. He is the brain behind some of the brand’s bestsellers and aided in John Hardy’s buyout in 2014. In 2017, Bedarida bought the jewelry brand Marina B, created by Marina Bulgari during the 1970’s.
