Louis Aucoc was a French goldsmith and jeweler, who worked alongside his father and brother in their family business. The Aucoc Family Firm opened in 1821 and created pieces for King Louis Philippe, Empress Eugenie, the House of Orleans and Napoleon III. Some of Aucocc’s more famous work includes a brooch known as ‘Flora” and a Plique-à-jour enamel made of rose diamonds and gold.
