Erika Hult de Corral (???? – ????) Among the handful of Americans who contributed to the early 20th century Mexican silversmithing movement, Erika was an award-winning jewelry designer who first studied at the New York Parsons School of Design branch in Paris. She moved to Taxco in the 60’s and worked with both Sigi Pineda and Enrique Ledesma before she opened her own shop in Puerta Vallarta in 1966.
Her pieces are influenced by modernist designs that lean to Danish modern and possess clean, contoured lines that collector’s like for both quality and imaginative design.
