J. Gomez (???? – ????) Very little is known about this talented artist. His work first appeared in Taxco during the mid-1940’s then into the 1950’s. Some of it is marked, “J. Gomez Taxco Hecho En Mexico.”
His creations dazzle even the untrained eye. Necklaces, sculpted pins, and bracelets containing beautiful stones in geometric settings (especially in the necklaces) appear to be among his specialties.
